Results for a Global Agency

Komodo, a global social-first creative agency with offices in Los Angeles, London and Sydney, makes marketing & advertising more relevant and social campaigns more engaging, more fun, and more effective. Needing a fast turnaround, they asked Sweet Orange to sharpen up their Tone of Voice and produce copy for their new website that was better optimised for search and more customer-centric to position them right where they belong, at the forefront of their industy.

Celebrity Chef’s Cocktails

Kiwi celebrity chef Simon Gault turned from the kitchen to the bar as he launched a fabulous gourmet cocktail range. For Gault’s Cocktails, Sweet Orange produced the words for the website including cocktail descriptions, and a press release to let New Zealanders know about his mission to revolutionise cocktail-making at home. Get transported to your favourite holiday destination without leaving your deck! Because… who doesn’t love a great margarita or piña colada?

Helping School Kids Thrive

Cluey Learning is an Australasian platform that offers personalised English and Maths tutoring programmes for children in schoolyears 3-11. We worked with them on their blog, covering topics from how the Māori language is taught in schools through to homeschooling in New Zealand, and from Tips for Teachers to Diversity in New Zealand schools. Blog & eDM for Millwoods

Millwoods began as an Australian kids’ shoe brand, creating high-quality leather shoes focusing on style, comfort and durability. It wasn’t long before mums craved the same style and comfort as their kids. Owner Jane headed back to the design board to create a range of stylish, fashion forward and ultra-comfortable women’s shoes. To give her beautiful customers a little extra, she decided to work with Sweet Orange and share articles on fashion, styling and – shoes! You can read them in The Millwoods Journal.

Website Refresh for Geneva

Geneva Finance is a New Zealand-owned company that provides flexible finance options for Kiwi consumers. Their website had gone stale and did not convert, as it didn’t speak directly to their target audience. With a brand refresh from Splash Marketing and SEO copywriting from Sweet Orange, all that was fixed. They now look better than the rest. Check out the new Geneva Finace website here.

SEO Copy that Works!

Rhino Blinds is a New Zealand company that manufactures and installs the best outdoor blinds, shades, awnings, covered pergolas and freestanding carports for Kiwis to enhance their outdoor living spaces. They engaged an SEO company who promised the earth to improve their website rankings but the results were poor. Unhappy with that provider, they tried Sweet Orange instead and that’s when the magic happened. A Taste of Bali

Slow travel, outdoor adventures, a little luxury and indulgence… There is so much magic in our world! Travel writing is one of Martine’s life-long passions. Kindly invited by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Martine wrote this travel piece about her visit to Bali where she discovered a truly unique and personalised experience and incredible cuisine.

Beautiful Whakatāne is one of the sunniest towns in New Zealand, frequently topping the record of sunshine hours in a year, which makes it perfect to enjoy adventures outdoors and take in the stunning scenery as well as keeping your body moving. Story of a mother, artist, and cancer survivor

Danish-born Kalou Koefoed was just 38 when she was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer. It changed her life but also inspired her to create an amazing interactive art project. Martine writes about Kalou’s journey, her exhibition, and the rare disease that took Farrah Fawcett’s life but Kalou thankfully survived.

NZ’s premiere Hunting & Outdoors event

Since 2013 until ownership changed in October 2020, we’ve taken care of all marketing and media for the Sika Show, New Zealand’s largest 2-day event for the hunting community. More than 6000 Kiwi hunters came to Taupo each year to visit the show and enjoy the competitions, taxidermy, and the latest innovations in hunting and outdoor-related products and services. In 2018, the show was covered on the national news twice.
